ENHANCED EYECARE WITH OPTOMAP
Our up-to-date procedures are carried out using the best technology available. Part of our commitment to providing quality eye care for the community is ensuring that all of our testing equipment meets the highest standards.
This includes Optomap technology, which is available as part of our enhanced examinations.
Optomap is an advanced retinal imaging system that creates a digital image of up to 80% of your retina. This allows our optometrists to examine areas of your eyes that were previously very difficult to see.
The procedure is completely non-invasive, only takes a minute and is a recommended part of a comprehensive eye examination.
WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EYE EXAM?
Your eye examination will involve a series of tests designed to thoroughly assess your vision and create a complete picture of your eye health.
The optometrist will talk you through each of the tests and ask several questions about any family history of eye conditions, symptoms and medications you may be on.
At the end of the examination, you will have the opportunity to discuss the optometrist's recommendation or anything else you’re not sure about.
Our examinations are effective and professionally carried out, so you can be confident in the assessment of your vision or any diagnosis.
